These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GetIPLoc websites, APIs, client scripts, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Accounts and Acceptable Use
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You agree to use the Services lawfully, respect applicable privacy and data protection laws, and refrain from:
- Reverse engineering, scraping, or attempting to bypass rate limits and API security controls.
- Using the Services to transmit malware, spam, or unlawful content.
- Interfering with, disrupting, or imposing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
2. Plans, Billing, and Subscriptions
Plan features, request limits, pricing, and billing intervals are detailed on our Pricing page. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to the renewal date. We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice to active subscribers.
3. Refund and Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all fees and subscription payments are non-refundable, and no credits will be issued for partially used subscription periods.
4. Data and Service Output Accuracy
IP intelligence, geolocation, and visitor analytics results are statistical estimates derived from available global network routing data and third-party registries. They may not precisely pinpoint an exact physical address or individual identity. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether the output is suitable for your specific business use case.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. GetIPLoc does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or 100% accurate.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetIPLoc and its officers, employees, or agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to GetIPLoc in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we detect abuse, security risks, or a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases, and any unpaid billing obligations will remain due.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
